Simon Lovegrove is a Of counsel lawyer within the financial services team at Norton Rose in London. Prior to joining Norton Rose LLP in January 2006 he spent several years working as a solicitor in the funds and financial services group of another City law firm advising on a variety of regulatory matters and issues concerning open and closed ended funds.
Simon is the author of the financial services client publications and also produces the financial services updater, MiFID updater and MIG updater.Since 2006 he has had a fortnightly regulatory column in the FT’s Financial Adviser magazine. He has produced various articles on a variety of regulatory topics for other publications including Complinet. He also writes the regulation update column in Butterworth’s Journal of International Banking and Financial Law
