Mouhamed Kebe (Geni & Kebe SCP)

Qualified with the Senegalese Bar Association in 1993 and member of the Law Society of England and Wales, Mr. Mouhamed Kebe graduated with a LL.B. in Private Law and a LL.M. in Business Law from the School of Law, University of Dakar UCAD. His significant experience in business affairs at international level covers, among others, arrangement of financial packages, corporate law and international contracts with trans-national corporations investing in Sénégal and in West Africa. The course of establishing his expertise in this area included a number of fellowships in major law firms in Paris and London where he particularly worked on sectors dealing with banking and finance, mining and energy concessions in Africa.

As a Human Rights activist, he handles numerous studies and pro bono cases in the field and is regularly consulted by international NGOs and IGOs as well as states for studies, missions, or training courses. He holds a LL.M. in International Human Rights Law from the University of Essex in United Kingdom, where he conducted research on the impact of stabilisation clause in investment contracts.

In 1996, Mr. Kebe was elected President of the Junior Chamber of Senegal, a member of the Junior Chamber International. He is former Director of International Justice Program of the National Organisation of Human Rights (Senegalese Affiliate member of the FIDH). Also he is a Fellow Chevening.
